To both you and Tell, I won't wait for the bite, cause we already all taste it. That moment – that point – is the end all of one specific endeavor. Having some experience trout fishing in America, I can without hesitation admit that when my line came to life it was primordially snagged on in the jaws of a fantastic musical fish we call the Grateful Dead. Even if the fish I caught (or did it catch me? ) had lived a goodly portion of its’ life already.

Nice to see you Ian. We have to try our best here. Hope all is swell, papa.

I feel the need to amend my post so as not to be too ostentatious. I have never made a fly – but that doesn’t imply a lack of familiarity of said skill. Succumbing to the rather full blown late night metaphorical ramblings that drive me now – I will leave it to the capable hands of one such as Cliff to materialize the perfect example of what song/sequence best exemplify the fishing analogy. Sure, my most fond fishing days were spent on a bank, not out on open seas, but when it comes to qualifying the experience of digging the Dead it little matters from where (or whence ! ) one tosses the line.
